I have been using the Kate in a Jar. I really like this product. I have really sensitive skin. Most Exfoliating products I can't use on my face. They usually turn my face red and irritated.
Because I have heard so many great things about this I really want to use it. I use this two times a week. This is easy to use . I applied a think layer on my face in the shower and gently rubbed it in. Than I let in sit on my face for about 30-40 seconds and rinse. As it is on my face I could feel it work. I had heard that it hurts a little, but for my skin and I have really sensitive skin, it didn't hurt at all. No burn just a little tingling sensation which is telling me that the enzymes are working. After I had used it a couple times I don't notice the tingling sensation anymore.
I loved the feel of my skin after I rinse it. From day one my skin has had not one bad reaction from the Kate in a Jar and No redness. After washing it off, my skin looks smoother and healthier. I can really see the difference less flakes, even skin tone, have definitely seen an improvement in texture, firmness, clarity and overall appearance. Oh and my Pores are smaller and the little blackheads that we all get are going away.
Like I said you don't need a lot to get a result from this and also follow the directions. The first time I used it I opened it up and didn't realize that it was a pump action, which even makes it nicer to use than sticking your fingers into the Jar. Apply around your face and even your neck to get a great fresh clean.

I have combo skin that sometimes breaks out. This cleanser did not irritate my skin.This is a great everyday cleanser! It does clean without making my skin feel tight. It takes off all the water proof makeup off too. You only need the smallest amount to make it lather and clean your entire face! Tube is going to last a long time!!
There is slight foaming action and my skin feels clean. It has a light clean scent as well, it is lavender and is so calming that I look forward washing my face at night. The packaging is also nice with its twist cap. I would repurchase this!

Kate Somerville entlw Daily wash is an excellent product.It does not leave my skin feeling dry.I have sensitive skin and this facial wash is truly gentle.There was absolutly no irritation.It cleans well and rinses off easily not clogging my pores.It does an excellent job at remoing dirt and make up leaving skin feeling really clean,smooth,and fresh.I only used a small amount so this will last for quite awhile.It has light lavender scent that I find pleasing.The scent is very clean.I highly recommend this face wash.

I have to first say.. all the Kate Products I am using, I really love and know they are making a differnce in my face wrinkles, pores, ect.
I am always on the hunt for a great eye cream and I must say this is one of the best! I love this under eye repair cream. It doesn't have any mineral oil that will clog up pores like some heavy eye creams and the power packed anti-aging ingredients really work. I can see a difference right away. I can put my make-up on without any problem .It has reduced the appearance of the fine lines around my eyes. I do only use this at night as I want to saver every last drop.

First of all this is only to be used twice a week.It can be used in the Morning or at night time.I use it at night.I only use a dab and smooth evenly over with a circular motion.Then the mask is left on for only two minutes and rinse. It says on the directions that after use your face may be red for 20 minutes because of circulation. That did not happen to me.This scrub and mask is gentle.There was no redness or blotchy spots on my skin.It effectively eleminates dead skin cells which makes my ace look brighter.
My face feels super clean and fresh.The gentle scrubbing action helps to cleanse cloged pores and dead skin cells without stripping away the natural moisture of my skin.It leaves my skin feeling renewed.I like this because it is a scrub that doubles as a mask.That is such a great idea! This is such a time saver as well. I love the way that my skin feels.

Review: I really like this exfoliator. I use this product twice a week at night. I apply this to my face and leave it on for about 30 seconds, then I rinse it off. It rinses off completely without a hassle. When I first used this product, it made my face burn a little (not bad, though). After a couple uses, however, I had no burning whatsoever. You will feel a small sensation of tingling, though. This makes my skin feel and look really healthy and clear. I love the way my skin looks and feels since using this product. My pores appear much smaller and when I apply my make-up, it has made my skin appear so soft and smooth. This is definately a product I highly recommend.

I have my 16 year old using this. This has made his face clear up and look much better. Of course Mom had to grab a few of these items to test
He really does like this kit and it is really easy for him to us!

Detox Cleanser- A great cleanser for oily/acne-prone skin. It has a nice scent isn't over-drying at all, and does a great job of getting rid of all the oil! It contains glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acid to cleanse, treat, and tighten pores.

Clarifying Treatment Toner- It's alcohol free, non-drying, non-irritating and it leaves his skin looking good. He uses this one time a day. His skin is very much improved.

Clearing Lotion- This is effective without being drying. He uses it as a spot treatment and when his face is really bad, he will put this all over his face.


Clay mask - This is a really nice clay mask. He has been using two times a week on his and sometimes as a spot treatment. entire face and every night as a spot treatment.

I took over the Line Release and love it. It comes in a generous tube sample. Lightened my dark circles and it has reduced the appearance my lines around my eyes. I use this at night and wake up to less puffiness too! Mom may have to get the full size of this.

We both have been using the Protect SPF 30. It also comes in a trial sample size but it is big enough that both of us could use it. We did not have any breakouts with this. It is a nice smooth SPF. I am glad that I got him to use it, as he has never worn SPF before and he really likes this! He uses it before he goes to school and he does not come home all red.

Review:

DETOX Daily Wash: I really love this cleanser. It had a slightly fruity smell and isn't overpowering, and it doesn't have the medicinal smell of most cleansers. This really helps keep my face from getting really oily. The bottle says it helps control sebum production, and I can definately vouch for this. After applying this, my face feels clean and oil-free, but it doesn't leave my face dry or tight like some cleansers, it really helps my face without stripping my face of its natural oils.

CLARIFYING Treatment Toner: This is an amazing toner. It smells pretty good considering it's a toner and it leaves your face feeling calm and refreshed. You may experience a slight tingle, but after a couple uses, it will go away without a problem. This also helped keep my face from getting oily, it left my face feeling smooth and soft without the oily residue.

ANTI-BAC Clearing Lotion: This is a gentle, yet very effective product. It didn't leave my face irritated or burning the first time I used it. This helps control pimples and even if you do get a pimple, this will keep it from getting large and noticeable.

CLEARING Mask: This is a really nice mask. After having a bad flare up of acne, my face was left with the marks of acne even after my face has cleared up. This has really helped lighten those places on my face gently and effectively. This exfoliates, refines pores and helps keep my skin from the flare ups of acne. I can definately tell a difference when applying my makeup, my face looks so smooth without any indication of large pores!

LINE Release: Where I am only 19, I let my grandmother try out this product and she really liked it. It feels really good on your skin. This is gentle on even the most sensitive of skin, because my grandmother has very sensitive skin and this worked great for her. This is a non-greasy product, so there will be no oiliness to work with. It goes on smooth and leaves your skin feeling and looking great. She said she could really tell a difference in her eyes since using this product.

PROTECT SPF 30: This is a really nice sunscreen. It goes on smooth and doesn't leave behind a greasy mess like most sunscreens. This goes on great under foundation as well.

I give this kit 5 stars, because all of the products were above and beyond excellent. When getting a kit like this, sometimes there is a product that isn't that great, but with this product, you will love every single product, I know I did! This is worth every penny and so much more!
