A SCENT OF SCANDALâ„¢ was created by brother and sister team Ari Solomon and Heather Brancaccio.

Our "scandals" contrast a very classy, rustic look with a funny, scandalous association between the name and fragrance.

Our candles come in 8 oz. tins and are hand-poured from 100% soy wax with metal-free, all-cotton wicks. Their burn time is 30-35 hours. So they're not only long-lasting, but also good for you and the environment!

Ari and Heather were born and raised in New Jersey, where they learned the art of scandal.

Ari currently lives in Los Angeles, with his partner, Mikko, and their two cats. Heather resides in New Jersey with her husband, Vinny, and their two children, Matthew and Jolie.

OMG, going through the Scent of Scandal's site was a great big smile looking at all the names of the candle.. There are quite a few I am interested in trying for the name along.. Check them out for more on the other scents..

I got the one night stand.. It's a great crisp lemon lime scent, when I breathe it in, my mouth starts to water from the sharp citrus scent.. I LOVE it, it's so clean smelling.. I have burned this the past couple of days and I love how the scent lightly travels through the room.. Also I don't blow it out, I smout it out with the cover that fits on light and doesn't allow any smoke to come out.. It burns nice and clean so I have no worries about soot anywhere.. This is a great quality candle that doesn't burn down quickly.. If you enjoy ummm a one night stand or Margaritas and love the clean citrus fragrances this is a great choice for you.. If not then I highly recommended checking their site out, they have a great selection and the tins are only $15!!

I love the name of these candles very unique. I also love this fragrance. Melon is such a sweet, ripe, mouth watering scent and a classic to boot. It’s a wonderful summertime fragrance and I'm loving burning this in my house. It’s one of those scents that always puts a smile on my face simply by smelling it.

This candle smells like the classic sweet melon. Mouth watering is an understatement. This scent is really nice.

The scent throw is strong. This is packed with a great punch which pleasantly surprised me. Great scent. If you have the chance to order from this company, give this one a try for sure.

STONER – grass

I have been burning this for the last few days and must say that it is different.
The name of it threw me off when I first got it, but went ahead and lit it.
I live in the desert and don't get much of a chance to smell grass. This brought back some interesting memories.

It smells just like cut grass. I like that these are soy candles. I find that it really burns clean and there is no soot.
And when I blow it out, I notice less smoke than other candles.
I really like this candle and will be trying a couple more soon.
The scent is not overpowering. It does fill up my computer room nicely!
I have to give it 5 stars.... just for the interesting scent it is.

Catfight - black & blueberry

This candle smells like a slice of fresh, homemade black & blueberry pie. And that is just from opening the tin. Burning the candle is even better! The scent softly fills the family room with such an incredible fragrance that you'd swear a pie was baking in the oven. I love the clean, neat look of the tin and the clean burn you get from a soy candle. I like the humor that the co-creator's bring to this line from the cheeky names to the fabulous scents and the quality of the products. There are so many candles that I want to try!
