Summer's upon us and numerous celebrity manicures have made the seasonal transition of taking their nails from winter black to a more friendlier white. And why not? It looks fresh and complements one's tan beautifully.
The trick is finding the best white for this look, preferably opaque yet shiny (not matte -- that's so 80's) and to start with as white a natural nail as humanly possible. Coming in second place only because they weren't quite as opaque, but were incredibly beautiful were Napoleon Perdis' French White (a sheer, glossy white) and Socialite White (a sheer, pearly opal white that doubles as the perfect top layer to jazz up any blah colors you may have in your war chest).
China Glaze was tops for having the best range of whites which include: Oxygen: A semi-sheer creamy white; White on White: A stunning pure white opaque; Hope Chest: A semi-sheer white with pale pink tones, and Rainbow: A sheer white rainbow opalescent shade.
