I just emailed them the following:

I just wanted to let Kara know how sadly disappointed I am to hear of the way she and her husband have treated Judy and the rest of the staff at Style for Free in regards to the recent gift certificate fiasco. I won a gift certificate and was thrilled until I heard what you had said about it all. I guess now you think you are too good for us "little people". It's really disheartening to see. I had the upmost respect for you, and I stress that in the past tense of the word. I received my flimsy paper Xerox copy gift certificate in the mail today and I couldn't be more unimpressed. This is beyond tacky and so tasteless. I am appalled at your actions and think it is just plain rude how you have treated these people who have promoted you for free for over a month on their site and elsewhere. Have you no shame or appreciation? Do you not remember where you came from? You may not even care after reading this, but I feel better after typing it. I just needed to get it off my chest!

OMG!! I can't believe that - I know everyone at StyleforFree goes out of their way and beyond to get the best for their customers - and for a company to send a "xeroxed coupon" as a prize, and have limits on it as well - how insulting! I'll never shop/support that company! If anyone asks about it - I'll make sure to let them know what I think of them - you know what comes around goes around - tell 1 person and it will go far!

Thanks so much to everyone for your support of us during this fiasco. We fought so hard for the winners and were nothing short of stunned that someone of Kara Janx's calibur would make so many attempts to scoot out of her end of the deal only after getting a month's worth of free publicity. We've learned a great deal during this and are making double-sure that any future gift certificate giveaways "restrictions" are clear & concise before they're put up on the site again.

I'd also like to send a warm shout-out to Wendy who was one of the unfortunate "winners" who posted this in her blog about the giveaway:
