Warning: The Outback Boutique is a store that's dowright impossible to leave.  You'll want to carve plenty of browsing time out to properly ooh and ah the hundreds of one of a kind finds inside.  We found beautiful vintage quilts, antique rocking horses, Shabby chic decor, hand painted furniture from Jane Keltner (such as her Newport Chest, shown at right) and the cutest little carved soaps from Gianna Rose.  If that weren't enough there's also an irresistible Candy Shop featuring the best confections the world has to offer including Seattle Chocolates, James and Fralinger's Saltwater Taffy and Wheeler's Southern Pecan Delicacies.  Word has it that this is where Santa and Mrs. Clause spend their off time and in under five clicks you'll quickly realize why.

Indulge in one too many desserts during the Holidays?  If it works for Teri Hatcher of Desperate Housewives fame, who just turned 40, we're all for giving it a kick!  The latest rage in Hollywood fitness is that of the strip tease workout.  Two thirty minute fun workouts a week is said to burn up to 15 pounds in under a month.  Intuition tells us there will probably be more versions released in the weeks ahead, but for now the two most popular are that by Carmen Electra and Jeff Costa's Cardio Striptease Workout, although Carmen's prettier to look at while sweating it out and learning a new talent.  One that's sure to make you fit as a fiddle for the New Year!

Faux Fur Bagging It
We Wish You a Merry Christmas Edition
Both are so pretty to look at.  How can we possibly choose just one?  At top is our latest crave, My Flat In London's Faux Fur Satchel ($360.00).  With construction fit for a princess and lots of lady like detail.  It's made of a luscious shade of pink faux French mink and fashionably ornate with rhinestones and a dainty bow.  Measuring 13 1/2"W x 9"H x 6"D, it's roomy enough to hold a wallet, small book, gloves and some lip balm.  A stunning look when matched with beautiful pastel colored faux fur coats and boots out there this winter.  Price tag too much to handle after all of that holiday shopping?  Try our more affordable pick, shown at the bottom, available at gap (Search for: faux fur).  A mere $19.50, it's also constructed of plush faux fur and detailed with glitzy jewels, available in white or pastel pink.  Measuring 10" x 5" x 5", it'll hold a bit less than the more expensive satchel above, but still gives you 'The Look' of the season that everyone wants to get their hands on.

I know what you're thinking.  Who wants to buy a swimsuit during the coldest snap of the year?  Perhaps your partner's giving you the exquisite gift of a tropical vacation this Christmas.  Or you're a firm believer in the almighty off season great buy.  Both were reason enough for us to head on over to Maya Swimwear.  The brainchild of Argentine designer Carolina Dinardi, her suits combine glamour, style and femininity, without losing your freedom in the water.  I lost my freedom in the water once and it wasn't fun.  Hers won't leave you in such a series of unfortunate events.  And for a limited time, every Maya suit, including Carolina's highly acclaimed signature cuts are all 40% off plus you'll receive a free matching pareo with every order!  We're shouting hip hip hooray not to mention it'll warm your heart at the mere thought of wearing one of these beauties.

It's a shame that in this modern day and age you can cross paths with a site as breathtaking as that of Diane James Designs, yet still can't experience a bit of virtual smell-o-vision.  Nearly impossible to leave, you'll feel as though you've stepped foot into a true gem of a floral shop containing the world's most extraordinary plants, orchids, topiaries and bouquets.  Ms. James has made quite a name for herself decking the halls of such stores as Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus where you'll find her fool proof silk floral arrangements.  Her site makes it a cinch to find her blooming creations at a store nearest you.  For an extra fee, she'll even custom design a botanical landscape for your home or corporate environment.  Talent as extraordinary as hers should never be passed by...but instead, relished and envied.

Meet the perfect union of makeup and music.  PersoNatalie creator, Natalie Bonelli, along with her best friend Nancy, have developed a line of extraordinary lip glosses, each named after a song from her new CD. Now you can get your very own copy of Natalie's CD (whom you have heard of from the '99 Dawson's Creek Best of Mix), plus a sheer, nude pink gloss thanks to PersoNatalie's Glisten and Listen Set ($22).  Or you can purchase the glosses individually, sans CD, with lyrics inside the packaging for $15 a shade.  Most buzzed about color goes to Afterglow, a beautiful sterling pink metallic.  What makes PersoNatalie outshine its glosses is that they donate a portion of the profits from every sale to The Renfrew Center Foundation, the nation's first free-standing facility dedicated entirely to the Education, Prevention, Research and Treatment of Eating Disorders.  Makeup with double benefits - truly a marriage made in Heaven.

If the space beneath your sink is cluttered with cleaning solutions and you're confused about what's supposed to be used for what, you're going to fall in total love with these cleaning genies! Casabella's microfiber cleaning cloths ($19.95, set of four) are remarkable.  Each one's color coded for certain tasks and they'll clean your glass, computer and tv screens, wood and stainless steel surfaces without a drop of harsh chemicals.   We wiped our white kitchen sink down with the general purpose pink cloth and had a polished, truly clean surface in less than a minute.  Our PDA and computer screens shone to their original out-of-box gleam in under 5 seconds.  And fingerprints on the wall?  Gone in minutes!  They also attract and hold dust better than your Swiffer duster.  If you like Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser, you'll love these even more as they won't wither away after a few uses.  Machine washable for a lifetime of uses...kiss the Windex and Soft Scrub good bye today!

Notwithstanding the above, the hidden treasures at Onatoko are the Japanese beauty products.  Get Geisha glam with Water In Lip Peeling Gel from Aquair, Jura's Salty Soap or rice blotting papers by Tokyo Pink Kiss (and who but the Japanese know how to blot a nose more beautifully?). Onatoko's a fun, happy trip across the Pacific that'll leave you breathless.

If Andy Warhol were alive, one gets the sense you would have found his masterpieces on the many products available at Cereal Art.   Based in Philadelphia, they're a new company aimed at delivering esthetically pleasing affordable artist's designs to the masses.  Want a soccer ball with lots of kick?  Ryan McGinness has designed one that'll leave your opponents asking "Where'd you get that?"  How about a double duty gift for your boss?   Please both sides with Kenny Scharf's Happy/Angry coffee mug.  And Cereal Art is the only spot where you'll find soon to be iconic favorites, Cateyeguy and Dogeyeguy from Kenny Scharf.  Only 2500 of each are available and they're destined to take some steam out of CatDog's sails and inhibit the rash of recent Sponge Bob nappings.

However you feel about the French, it's undeniable that they have dashing style and lots of it.  Aside from their political views, French artisans have a way of embracing all the joys life has to offer and presenting them in a more relaxed manner.  Nowhere is this more prevalent than at French living store, illico design.  If you're still scrambling trying to find that perfect gift for someone special, you're guaranteed to find one here.  Be it a hostess gift, for a co-worker or your favorite child.  One we went oo-la-la over is Tsé & Tsé associées Ventriloque alarm clock ($89).  It lets you record your own wake up sound, whether you need a message with extra oomph to rustle the kids out of bed, or prefer to be gently risen to the voice of someone you love. It's a breath of fresh air in our techno world and just one of many you'll find at illico design.

One might not think a company that's been around since the early 1900's would be making such stylish accessories. But San Francisco based Goorin is totally in line with the times.  Their faux fur hats top our list, like the Mary J Suede Lampshade style shown at top ($45.50).  On the prowl for some fun leg warmers to stuff those stockings with?  You'll love theTrixie puff knit warmers, shown at bottom ($23) in beige (shown), pink with black or brown with coral.  Goorin also offers a fantastic selection of newsboy, fedora and knit beanie hats in styles that'll make his day too.  One of our favorites is the Final Lap checkered beanie ($15.50).  There's something for everyone on your list at Goorin and quite possibly a few styles you'll have no problem squirreling away for yourself too.

Maybe it's from all the feasting during Thanksgiving that has our mouths watering at the sight of this deal.  We knew Harry and David, connoisseurs of the perfect fruit, had an Outlet.  But their Maverick Fruit of the Month Club is a lot healthier to give and receive than a box of chocolates, not to mention very economical.  Each month you, or your gift recipient, receives an average of four whopping pounds of delish fruits like mangoes, papayas and their famous Royal Riviera pears.  Purchase a year's worth and you'll have a healthy surprise on your door each month that works out to be a mere $4.80 a pound.  So what's the catch?  These juicy gems weren't super model enough for Harry and David's discerning gift box criteria, so they'll show up in no-frills packaging (but in great shape nonetheless) and may contain a blemish here or there.   Three, six and eight month Maverick clubs are also available.
